It has been and will always be ugly. We are, after all, embarking on a Christian walk that began with a pretty nasty fall. Well, to be fair, it actually began with a brief moment of perfection, as God saw all that he had made and acknowledged that it was “very good.” And as ugly as our existence became, there was a time when we were included in that which was “very good.”
